Do You Have A Muscle or Joint Injury / Problem?

For immediate advice and self care information you can visit www.nhsinform.co.uk/msk  or you can phone the Musculoskeletal Advice and Triage Service (MATS) on 0800 917 9390 to speak to a trained adviser who can provide information and advice to help with your problem, and refer you to a healthcare professional such as a physiotherapist if you need it.

Wanting To Stop Smoking?

A smoking cessation advice service is provided to our patients by the pharmacist in Aberlour. By signing up to this free advice service you can be provided with nicotine replacement products free of charge if appropriate. Accessing support from a smoking cessation advisor DOUBLES your chance of success in quitting! We regret the surgery will no longer be providing nicotine replacement products direct from a GP, as it is NHS Scotland policy that prescriptions can only be provided to patients engaged in a smoking cessation programme.

Do You Have An Eye Problem?

Opticians in Grampian have same day appointments for eye emergencies and have better equipment for assessing these than your GP. Opticians can also refer you directly to the Eye Clinic in Dr Gray’s Hospital if they need to.
